About the job
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician reports to the Crew Chief for assignment of work scope tasks and is responsible for the efficient execution of work scope tasks assigned. The AMT performs tasks as required by the work scope efficiency and to quality standards and utilizes the applicable technical data relative to tasks performed including but not limited to maintenance and inspection, servicing and lubrication, troubleshooting, repair and modifications and fueling and de-fueling. Please note that this position is located in Reno, Nevada.
 
Responsibilities
Maintenance and inspection, servicing and lubrication, troubleshooting, repair and modifications, fueling and de-fueling. Be throughouly familiar with the Quality Control systems and procedures of the Repair Station/Quality Control Manual relative to the scope of the normally assigned duties. Complete aircraft maintenance documentation and forms in accordance with methods of execution outlined in the RSM/QCM. Ensure that you present yourself in a professional manner and appearance in a day to day contact with customers, guests and co-workers.
 
Required qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. FAA Mechanic's certificate with Airframe and Powerplant rating. Minimum three years experience in a business jet maintenance environment, preferably on Falcon aircraft. APU Operation Qualified. Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Read and interpret diagrams, charts and schematics. Be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must not be allergic to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids and cleaning solvents. Must be able to stand and bend in a confined work space. Must be able to repeatedly enter and exit aircraft using stationary steps/stairs.
 
Desired qualifications
Knowledgeable and experience using computers and aircraft software. FAA Inspection Authorization. Successful completion of at least one Falcon Initial Maintenance school. Engine Run & Taxi qualified on business jet aircraft, preferably on Falcon aircraft.
