About the job
The Airframe Structures Technician operates test equipment and tooling used in the repair of aircraft structures. Interprets technical manuals and Engineering data to support tasks. Completes assigned tasks within the allocated man-hour budgets and on schedule while maintaining quality standards and performing the tasks within the guidelines of all safety and regulatory regulations and requirements. 
 
Responsibilities

Work from blueprints, CATIA models, company standards, work instruction, and performs necessary calculations using shop math to fabricate and/or install complete or major assemblies and sub-assemblies
Modify completed assemblies and sub-assemblies 
Perform check of fabricated items
Set up and operate standard shop equipment
Select material from stock. 

Required qualifications

High school diploma or GED

Able to read and interpret aircraft diagrams, charts, structural repair drawings and schematics

Must have required tools
Able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

Must not be allergic to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids and cleaning solvents

Understand airframe systems such as: flight controls and slats

 
Desired qualifications

Turbine jet aircraft structural repair training and/or experience - preferably on Falcon aircraft.
