About the Job
The Contracts Manager manages all aspects of the aircraft sale from execution through delivery and clearing of post-delivery obligations
Serve as the primary point of contact related to all commercial aspects of the aircraft acquisition and delivery process
Chair the Customer introduction meeting to explain the aircraft specifications, completion and delivery process including presentation of the Milestone Brochure
Ensure all milestones from Purchase Agreement execution through delivery and clearing of squawks & collection of holdbacks are met, assisted by the Contracts Administrator
Inform senior management when milestones appear as though they will not be met prior to reaching critical mass and propose recommended action plan
Participate in customer specification development meetings and final specification review prior to release of initial issue
Manage multiple Contracts under their respective responsibility
Participate in Pre-Sale Agreement presentation, Proposal Analysis preparation, Initial Purchase Agreement presentation, incorporation of Purchase Agreement negotiation prices, obtain internal approvals and present revised Purchase Agreement to customer
Coordinate execution of final Purchase Agreement
Purchase Agreement Abstract Review and Approval
Bachelors degree required or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of 7 years of proposal presentation and management, cost/price and financial analysis, negotiation, preferably in the aerospace military industrial complex
Ability to understand contract language and clauses with experience drafting contract language
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
Strong writing skills
Experience working in a high volume, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed (typically 20%)
Ability to interface with all levels within the organization
Proficiency with MS Office Suite – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Financial analysis skills a plus
Experience in or knowledge of the corporate aviation industry strongly preferred, especially knowledge of the Falcon Aircraft Product Line
Fluency in French and/or other languages helpful
