Provide a pleasant and friendly atmosphere for our customers to conduct businessEffectively answer customer administrative questions or forward to proper DFJ personnel in a manner that satisfies the customer request and minimizes abandoned phone callsAnswer all incoming calls in an expeditious mannerCoordinate interdepartmental correspondence relating to the timely delivery of SparesRecord customer requests for quotes and convert to sales order when requiredResearch IPC to problem solve in AOG (aircraft-on-ground) situationsResponsible for follow-up to customers on shipping informationManage client database and update customer transactions/issues in SiebelAssist customers in obtaining information on services from other DFJ departments and/or DFJ vendorsPerform off-hour telephone coverage as neededAdministrative work as assigned by management team, as requiredOther duties may be assigned by management in order to meet business objectives on an as-needed basis
Required qualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent required, College degree preferredMinimum one year of Customer Service experience in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with Automated Order Entry SystemsAbility to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customersExcellent listening skills and telephone mannerProficiency with MS Office SuiteExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational and follow up skillsAbility to work effectively as a part of a team
Desired qualificationsAviation industry experience strongly preferred
