About the Job

Initial responsibilities are to establish position as the focal point for the department in supporting the 5X.  This position will be based in Little Rock until 2018, at which time a required move is likely to a location where a high concentration of in-service F5X are based

Responsibilities

Establish contacts within Dassault’s various organizations for effective implementation of the 5X Program in Technical Support

Attend system checkout and Maintenance workcard validation trials in France and in the U.S. during development and production of the 5X

Provide input to correct procedures and processes for Maintenance Manuals

Visit and work with Dassault Merignac and Istres during production and testing of the aircraft to have a solid understanding of its process and production cycle

Plan, develop and teach training courses regarding the 5X and its systems for internal Technical Support and company owned Service Center individuals

Participate in 5X MSG3 groups to provide input on future requirements and maintenance needs

Represent Technical Support at Regional M&O Seminar starting in 2015

Assist Service Engineering, Dassault International and DSC team members dedicated to 5X

Participate and contribute as a core team member of the 5X Entry Into Service team for Customer Service

Work in concert with DFJ Little Rock Production during completion to learn ongoing issues and communicate those to Field Service as required keeping FTR’s updated

After delivery of the Falcon 5X, accompany the aircraft into the field and provide training to the crew, maintenance and Field Reps

Perform Entry Into Service Presentations for new 5X operators before and at delivery as necessary

Assist DSC in preparing the EIS documentation when necessary

Assist the FTR’s and customers to troubleshoot, analyze and recommend correction action for aircraft discrepancies, when requested by the operator

Complete Customer Contact Reports (CCR) to document/report malfunction/maintenance difficulties/corrective action, maintenance operations which are of use for understanding system and aircraft operation

 

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of business jet maintenance experience (preferably on Falcon aircraft)

Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificates

Good communication skills (verbal and written)

Avionics background/experience

Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, database development and retrieval)

Two (2) years of college education (or equivalent)

 Flexibility of personal schedules

Ability to travel and be away from home for extended periods of time (1-2 months at a time)

Familiarity with Dassault EASy system

Ability to instruct based on experience and prepared material

Demonstrated strong customer service orientation

Automobile driver’s license

Current passport

 

Desired Qualifications

Pilots’ license, FAA Inspection Authorization, Teaching/Instructor experience, Knowledge of French, Knowledge of production process within Dassault organization and demonstrated presentation skills are all desired qualifications
