About the Job

Manage and coordinate logistics for over 30 trade shows and VIP events a year, both domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

The Manager, Trade Shows and Logistics must manage the trade show calendar, including seminars and events occurring both domestic & international
Budgeting, planning and coordinating all show logistics (booth and static display setups, service contractors, hospitality events, meetings, etc) as well as coordinating these details with internal departments and from time to time with Dassault Aviation. 
Participates peripherally in support of European shows.
Prepare tradeshow budget analysis and after-event reconciliations
Conduct after-event surveys to determine need for improvements and changes to future programs
Coordination & collaboration with the Manager of Exhibits & Promotions to help make trade shows/events more efficient and cost effective
Manage outside vendors including exhibit companies, outside contractors, & various trade show/VIP event vendors
Negotiate with organizers, contractors; exhibit vendors, etc. to get the best possible rates, costs and overall event locations. 
Maintain contact with sales force with trade show updates & recaps.
Ensure all company displays have the current promotional items and printed materials
Order, receive and stock inventory
Maintain and ship promotional items and printed sales materials to all show & events
Keep current on conference and exhibitor tradeshow techniques by reading and occasionally attending seminars for this purpose
 
Required Qualifications
College degree in Marketing or Communications
At least 7 years of practical experience within the trade show industry, handling various logistics
International trade show experience required
Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to communicate clearly and confidently
 
 
Desired Qualifications

Ability to think creatively with high-end design in mind

Manage trade show budgets economically

Ability to use desk top publishing software
Exposure to the aviation industry is a strong plus
