Responsibilities
Conduct training needs analysis and develop strategic plans to address those needs
Collaborate with Department Heads to identify training needs, define programs to address the needs and support implementation of programs including facilitating training for Managers
Assess and recommend various training methods, including on-the-job, classroom, web based, vendor courses, conference, workshops, etc.
Design and conduct in-house training and development programs:
Soft-skills training (E-mail Etiquette, Performance Management & Discipline, Workplace Harassment, Interviewing, Conflict Resolution, etc.)
Leadership development & coaching
Provide assistance in ongoing new hire orientation training programs that relate to company objectives
Participate in various firm-wide projects including Diversity Initiatives, Career Path programs, Apprenticeship Initiatives, Succession Planning Initiatives, Company Code of Ethics, etc.
Evaluate training effectiveness and manage associated costs
Create and distribute post course feedback surveys, monitor and apply results
Maintain an effective level of Company literacy regarding history, culture, competition and business plans

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or related field
10 years of experience in HR with 5+ years in training and program development
Experience with communicating and presenting to audiences in a professional manner
Demonstrated comfort and ability to handle design, delivery and administrative tasks associated with training
Knowledge of effective and current learning techniques and delivery methods
Strong communicator with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to teach/convey materials to all levels of employees
Self-motivated and directed, possessing an ability to motivate others
Significant knowledge of employment laws
Strong PC and software application skills
Ability to interface effectively with all levels of employees within the organization
Strong organizational and planning skills

Desired Qualifications
Masters Degree preferred
